Sunflower fields are always a popular summer treat for Southern families. Most days, you will see several families out in the fields taking cute photos. Everyone is captivated by these gorgeous flowers and the stunning backdrop they provide – including me! Sunflowers are my favorite flower, so I’m always excited when sunflower season rolls around. A local family planted this field in Headland, Alabama and invited the public to take photos, cut some flowers, and enjoy the blooms. I quickly posted a model call and this gorgeous mama responded! The forecast was clear earlier in the day, but as soon as we arrived on location the dark clouds began to roll in. We only had about 7-8 minutes in the flowers before the wind picked up, but the dark skies made for some beautiful images of this mama-to-be.
